17 weeks update

I am 17 weeks PG! We have our Level 2 ultrasound scheduled for Friday, January 30, at 1:00 PM. I don't think we're going to find out what Soup Baby #2 is this time!!! I've having a Level 2 because I will be 35 when I give birth to the baby, although my OB mused on the fact that my egg donor's eggs are probably a lot younger than mine would have been, so she's not too worried about anything. *knock on wood* tells us: How your baby's growing:Your baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — her lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and she's around 5 inches long from head to bottom. She can move her joints, and her sweat glands are starting to develop.

Yay for 17 weeks! It feels great doesn't it. And congrats for working out more (in the other post) I haven't been to the gym in almost 3 weeks and I really feel it now!

Wow, how exciting! Seems as though there's an epidemic of this sort of thing going around. :-)
