That's what she says

Driving home last night, Keifer blurted out from the back seat:

"Oh, shoot, mom! I forgot to tell Elaine that I'm going to be a puppy for Halloween".
"That's OK," I reassured her. So we called Elaine and left her a message.

About 10 minutes later, we were driving and I could hear Keifer watching some Country/Western Elmo movie on her Ipod. I overheard that Alison Krauss was singing on the show, and I explained to Keifer that the song she really loves to listen and sing along to, Down to the River to Pray, was also sung by Alison Krauss.

I began to hum and then sing a few lines from that song.

"Mommy, can you stop it, please?"
"Stop what, baby," I asked, knowing full well what she was going to say.
"Stop your singing, please".

A few minutes later, in silence except for Elmo on the Ipod, Keifer piped back up and asked me, "That was nice asking, wasn't it Mom?".

"Yes, baby, it sure was polite."
The above pictures were taken after the before Interpretive dance show in our living room and the clips were all put in independently, with extra emphasis on INDEPENDENTLY

She is such a doll. I can't believe I've been reading your blog for so long. I feel like if I saw Keifer on the street I'd know her!

Tell me more about the iPod that she has. What kind is it? Does she use it independently? Seems like it might be a neat thing for Bo to have.
