2009: My Year in Books:

Here's the list of books I read for my "50 Book Challenge": Ironically, I just finished the book Cold Moon, one of the last Lincoln Rhymes murder mysteries in Jeffery Deaver's collection. I have many more books on hold at the library, and two that I just checked out yesterday, so let's hope that I don't lose my reading "mojo" this year!
As you can see, I read anything from comedy to murder mysteries, to non-fiction, self-help, parenting, and cheesy fluff (I mean, Tori Spelling? C'mon!). However, the fact that I now have 2 rug rats at home and that I was able to still enjoy my favorite past time makes me proud of all that I've read, cheese or no cheese! I read a total of 77 books this year, and 71 this year. I'm proud of that number, and hopefully the year 2010 will be just as successful in reading as many books as I can get my hands and eyes on!
