OB check up today: "My turn, my turn"

I had my OB check up today with Addie- and everything seems to be going well. Thank God I made it there safely: it's started snowing again all day long here in MN, and I left work an hour early to get to my OB that usually takes about 15 minutes. I picked up our girl, and we were on the road. We passed about 6 cars in the ditch and two cars ahead of us bumped bumpers and pulled over to inspect the damage as we crept by them. Whew. Daddy CJ even met us at the doctor, and we got to hear Soup Baby #2's heartbeat again! What a beautiful sound! Today, it was in the low 160's - a bit higher than any baby has had so far! LOL.

Addie and I went over everything- I didn't have many questions other than how long can I fly- because we are debating on spending some $$ to have me and Keifer fly out to visit Mooshie and company over my spring break (the early part of the week that K turns 2). I can fly safely (she says) up until around 35 weeks!

This PG, I've only gained about 11.5 pounds! WOW! No wonder most of my jeans still fit somewhat. I swear by now, I must have gained at least 20 pounds the first time! LOL. Addie told me that is very common in 2nd pregnancies, as well as the baby being so much lower this time (like right on top of my bladder!!). When Addie had the doppler over the baby to listen to the heartbeat, I felt the little soupster fluttering away like crazy inside there! It was almost surreal; like a little fishie just swimming away,trying to get away from that "thing" that was prodding at it!
When we listened to the heartbeat, we asked Keifer if that was her brother or sister? She said no, and proceeded to lift HER shirt to show us her belly (even though her onsie got in the way). As I was stepping down from lying on the table, she started to climb UP, and said, "my turn, my turn", so Addie (kind as she is) let Keifer think we were listening to HER baby inside her tummy (or whatever she seems to think we were doing! LOL).
