Harness buddies
With Keifer entering toddler hood with her bang - complete with whining, throwing herself on her back when told to do something undesirable to her (like get in the car), and pushing CJ and I to our extreme limits, I've decided it's time to purchase something like the safety backpack for her. Knowing that she loves to run, er, walk quickly in public places rather than holding someone's hand *gasp*, and knowing we are traveling over Christmas in crowded airports, I wondered if anyone had any knowledge on what safety backpacks you've used? And yes, we are teaching her that she DOES have to hold our hands when we want her to, no matter what (aka listen to the "rules" of mom and dad), but sometimes I do want her to be able to run and exercise her little legs. What do you think? And, which one do you like better? *hee hee*
I am so happy that you're going to use one...I love both!! Plus I am tired of all the "OMG, you're not really going to buy one of those stares" from people. Now I can say,,'Hey everybody's doing it!!" :)
Did you buy one already? I like the monkey because it's cute, but it's also totally overdone. EVERYONE has the Eddie Bauer monkey, ya know? So you'd be more cool to get the puppy - plus K likes puppies......

Slightly kooky, funny, emotional (!), supportive, kid and dog-loving Mama. I TTCed for almost 3 years, and was finally successful, thanks to my egg angel Mooshie. We used an Anonymous Egg Donor for baby #2, and were lucky! Now I have 2 gorgeous, spirited, and unique girls!

Books Talking About Using An Egg Donor For Children
CJ and I love this book -- it explains how mommy had a part that didn't work, so another special lady comes to help because she has that special part that is needed. Beautiful pictures and simple, sweet text.

We have a bunny one just like this. We've used it a couple of times at the mall just so Kylie can get used to it. It works great!
We have the monkey one. Too cute. It works for a bit and then Aidan wants "up."
We have the monkey one, and the MR loves it. He is a big fan of the monkeys. Either are very cute, and very effective.
P.S. Good luck on the waiting game, hopefully the end of the week gets here soon!
