K1's latest musical words mix-up is the beloved Laurie song, Under a Shady Tree.Yesterday, driving home, as she watched the video on my Ipod (*greatest thing ever was to download this to my Ipod touch), she was singing along, bopping her head around. Under a Shady Tree came on, and she sang along...."under a shaving tree, you and me". Yada yada yada.
I laughed and said, "Keifer, you mean SHADY tree, right?"
"NO, Mama, SHAVING tree," she very sternly told me, and then as she thought about it (I could see the wheels turning), she then said, "Mama, daddy shaves his face!"
"Yes, baby, he sure does!"
She then continued to watch Laurie and her friends prance around, singing along loudly with them, while Kyla gazed at her admirably in the back.
Do I love this girl or WHAT? *sigh*

Oh I love these stories, seriously they make my day.
Plus I love and *Heart* Laurie B!! we sing "FAMILY" all the time.
