Her great masterpiece

Kyla is an interesting little girl. She loves to play and set things up and talk about imaginary happenings. Sunday, she decided she was going to set all these things out - what it represents, I have no idea. But I do know she worked pretty hard on it, and really confused the dogs. LOL. As you see in the first picture, this is their door to the back yard, and when this was covered in other items, it was a bit much for them.
Bravo, K2, for the most interesting set-up I've seen in quite some time!

I will also add, as an exciting tid-bit, she insisted upon wearing a pair of orange shorts under those cute jeans she is modeling. Yep, that's my crazy K2!

"I just want to be in a different FAMILY!"

*HURMPF*
Yes, that is what Keifer told me about a month of so again, just because I wouldn't give in to her demands for a specific snack (or something like that). I swear, this girl is like Jekyll and Hyde! People don't believe me when we have playdates, but spend a little time at our house in the "after hours".....

Here she is, last weekend, taking all night Friday and most of Saturday to complete a birthday gift: a sticky mosaic Princess crown! She was beyond proud to have made it and I was so proud of her persistence on the actual DOING of the art!

A tattoo artist in the making?

You see the above artistry on Kyla's slipper? That would be thanks to older sissy, who decided drawing on her own feet while inside their favorite BOX, would be a fun activity to try. I did allow her to write on her feet, yes, and I have to say I was quite impressed with K1's flower drawing skills and her perfectly matched flower on each foot. Adding a dash of violet to the flowers added an especially sweet touch, one that I would be proud to say, could be a tattoo artist skill someday? LOL

Abstract *tape* Art

Keifer has discovered scotch tape. And our home has discovered new places of displaying scotch tape art projects. The place mats have been taped up to no end, the papers we color are all full of the sticky stuff, and a few weeks back, Keifer made an entirely new abstract art project that she wanted on full display in Mama & Daddy's bedroom.

The paper of tape art masterpiece.
Here it sits, TAPED onto our wall, of course. Under the picture of Mama pregnant with Kyla.
A closer view of the talent my girl possesses
And my personal favorite- a gift to me. My very own red pepper, all taped up and ready to..... well, I'm not sure......

Magna ART!

Keifer art on her magna doodle- I find these pretty darn impressive for her 3 years of age!

A snowman! (sideways, oops)

Keifer pics - a load of 'em!

Trying to get caught up on Keifer pictures! I have a list somewhere of her cute things she's doing - she has been changing on a daily basis with the things she does and things she is saying. I thought I'd post some pictures to start and I'll update more with the info soon!

Here she is preparing something yummy on the stove of her new kitchen! *so serious*
enjoying the meal afterwards!
And, enjoying another meal on the stairs on another day (or was she "whisking" some eggs?)
Hi, mama!
Making sure baby gets a warm bottle
On another day, but she put baby "Kyla" in her seat and gave her some food and a bottle
The girl LOVES her ABC's! (she is always singing the song. ALWAYS.)
I love this: I call this the "Aftermath of an Artist"
Her latest thing: when she wants to watch "Elmo", she'll lay on the couch and pull the blanket up; she thinks she's hot stuff doing this!
CHEESE!
Petting and saying goodbye to her best friend, Sager, before we leave for Elaine's one morning
She loves this doggie
