24 weeks and cooking.....

Last weekend, my friends Peggy and Alicia from high school came down to visit. It was so much fun, but a far cry from what we used to do the last time we really used to" hang out" together: aka: getting together well after 9PM to drink and go bar hopping and dancing. *sigh*. Those were fun days, but now, Alicia has 2 adorable boys, and Pegs in on her way to baby #1, after a struggle to get PG! I think we were all passed out cold, sleeping, before 9 PM even hit! LOL.

Pegs is 20 (well, 21 now) weeks PG with a BOY and I was 23 1/2 weeks PG with baby girl Kyla. We had our mandatory "belly pose" picture taken together. Shopping for baby items with her was just such a joy! I'm so excited to meet baby Gibby someday, not that far off in the future.....

As for me, well, I'm feeling larger and more "in charge" Ha ha. No, really.I feel large. Having a REALLY hard time eating and drinking anything the past week or so due to nasty heartburn. I had heard about heartburn, but Keifer never really gave me the bad kind. Kyla: it's a different story. I almost threw up from the pain associated with it the other night. Tums are my new pals. And breathing, well, she must be kicking up near my ribs already, because already I'm having a hard time catching my breath! I walked the puppies around the loop the other day and was huffing and puffing like crazy. But, I'll take it! She is so worth it!
Babycenter.com tells me: Your baby's growing steadily, having gained about 4 ounces since last week. That puts him at just over a pound. Since he's almost a foot long (picture an ear of corn), he cuts a pretty lean figure at this point, but his body is filling out proportionally and he'll soon start to plump up. His brain is also growing quickly now, and his taste buds are continuing to develop. His lungs are developing "branches" of the respiratory "tree" as well as cells that produce surfactant, a substance that will help his air sacs inflate once he hits the outside world. His skin is still thin and translucent, but that will start to change soon.

My girlie girl

Hi, Mama!
See this "pretty" in my hair? I ask you to put it in pretty much every day now! Mama likes it because it keeps your shaggy, overgrown bangs out of your eyes...and you look so adorable with it! And now, 2 girls (sisters, in fact) at Elaine's house want THEIR mama to put pretty pony tails in THEIR hair, because they saw how cool you were with yours in!
Ahh, yes. Your purse and baby's diaper bag. Whenever we leave to go in the car, which you insist upon quite often (Mama, go car!), you have to run over to your toy pile, and are only happy once you fine 1) one of your purses, and 2) baby's diaper bag. No girl is complete without getting into the car without them!

Friends are fun....

...and so are cousins!

Cousins Aubrie (3 1/2) and Keifer Lynn, reunited after 5 months over Valentine's Day
Keifer playing with my high school friend Lori's little 14 month, Isla
Getting a decent pic of these 2 was impossible! :)
See? Yeah, my hambone was on show, and Isla wasn't interested! LOL

Got Tats? (*toos*)

Keifer girl likes to look at mama's tattoo on her back. I have a Taurus symbol with a tulip coming through the circle part of it.......and now, if she gets stickers, she likes to put them "on back"- I think she thinks this is just like mama's "tat".
This particular tattoo was from Elaine on Valentine's Day. I asked K where she wanted this one put: she pulled her shirt up and pointed right at the spot you see.

I found Sesame Street (aka lots of ELMO) tattoos at Target in their dollar bin. Guess who loaded up on those? *wink wink*

The letters of the alphabet

MOB

M
O
B

These are the letters of the alphabet that our girl can identify! "That's a B!" she'll say, all excited and happy! Crazy! We aren't doing anything to "force" her to learn letters- she just naturally has a huge interest in them, and as I 've stated many times, loves to sing the ABC song. It just amazes me that a 22 month old can actually identify letters.

She is trying really hard to identify colors, but so far, is only consistent with orange. Otherwise, everything else is blue. I'm not concerned, my goodness, she is so young, but it's fun to see her so interested in learning all about her world.

As for counting, we continue to count all the time, such as when we put her clothes on, we'll say "one arm, two arms", or "one sock, two socks" and now she's telling US when she wants to put the second arm or foot into her clothing. She counts as we go up or down stairs, and is pretty good 1-3, and sometimes skips around, but so far, has some of the 1-10 down pretty well. This is such a fun time!

I love you, (cousin) Abby

Our girl spent all afternoon yesterday at her cousin's house, and enjoyed her cousin Abby so much! CJ said she spent most of the time coloring on their easel and beaming under the praise of Abby. The video clip at the end of this post shows Keifer hugging Abby, and then her spontaneous "I love you, Abby". Ahhhhhhh!

Abby is so much fun!
This is my little rag-a-muffin!

Busy girl

K enjoys helping her daddy vacuum around the house with her new vacuum that cousin Aubrie gave her to use. She even knows how to push things aside, and get under tables!

Just like daddy
Kiss the cook. Her eyes are 'sick' looking here, but it didn't stop our girl from enjoying her new apron, hat, hot pads and napkins from (Great)Auntie Barbara

I love you, mama

The three magic words that every parent loves to hear: I love you. The past two weeks, Keifer has learned to say "I love you" to me and CJ, all on her own. She's been saying it out of the blue, here and there, and yesterday, she said "I love you, daddy" when he was on his way out the door to work. Ahhh, my heart.

This AM, while watching her beloved Sesame Street, when Cookie Monster came on, she stopped in her tracks, and said "hi, Cookie!" and then, "I love you, Cookie!". I was laughing, and then when Grover came on, she again said, "I love you, Grover!". She is really just a sweet pea. She's also been learning "no thank you" when we ask her questions and she says "no" to them. It's been a work in progress, but she's been pretty consistent lately with adding on that "thank you" to the end of it, although it sounds like 'sank sou".

Here is a pic of me and my girl on Nana & Papa's couch last weekend, with the fur kids, and she thought she was reading the Chinese take out menu. Hee hee.
You can actually see her lips forming "cheese"
Ahh, how I love my sweet girl
Watching Elmo on mommy and daddy's bed one morning, and Tboy decided to come and sit in HIS spot, right next to K.

Only 1 week late- but who is counting? Will you be my Valentine?

A picture (or 2) of K on the day of her Valentine's party at Elaine's. She was all decked out in her hearts outfit, and this is the best we could get of her "posing" for us. Some days, the camera is not her friend! However, she was VERY excited when we got to Elaine's house to show off her hearts everywhere outfit.

Her latest obsession (of many) is putting on mommy or daddy's shoes, or else telling us she wants HER shoes on and then "go in car". The girl likes to be on the go - just like mama! Unfortunately, we can't always be on the "go", so then we have meltdowns. Boy, are those fun!

Chicky Chicky FUN!

I stopped at Barnes and Noble quick today, and I was SOOOO happy to see that one of my favorite books, Chicky Chicky Chook Chook, was there in a smaller, board book format! YEE HAW! I had been hoping they would make this originally hard cover only book into either a paperback or board book!

And, thanks to Keifer's Great Uncle Danny, I was able to buy it for her (she received a B&N gift card from him for Christmas).

YAY! If you haven't checked this book out, it was on the store's Easter display table in my local store. It is adorable!

What a wonderful world

One of K's new books I recently got for her is called "What a wonderful world" -based on the song by Louis Armstrong. She loves the pictures, and is always "reading" it to me.

I say, what a wonderful world that I can blog on my own blog, natch it is owned by blogspot-but still- and tell my friends and family about my beautiful angel girl, and about our second miracle baby who is on the way.

Yes, it's my blog. It's my blog to be moderated as I so choose- and having to resort to "moderate comments" lately made me sad. How sad that there are people in this world who choose to nit pick at people, people whom they don't even KNOW, and push their views on them. Certainly I may have opinions about things in parenting and in life in general, but never would I think I NEED to go on a complete stranger's personal life blog and basically lecture them about what I think is "the right choice" in childbirth or feeding my child.

I started this blog after CJ and I endured 3 years of "unexplained" infertility HELL. Three years of failed attempts and more money than you can imagine, down the drain, and no baby to speak of. It hurt A LOT. We went to a therapist for "people like us": people who also were going through agony of trying to have a baby. I cried a lot. My personality changed. Forever. I made new friends along the way, and lost friends along the way. It was the most agonizing thing in the entire world to hear the doctor say "you should use donor eggs" (in order to attempt even getting PG).

But here we are. We got through it. On the other side: parents and expecting again. Thanks to endless prayers and energy and support from friends and family, here we are. Parents to one beautiful 22 month old and I am 23 weeks PG with another miracle. Thanks to the new 'sister' I have found in our first egg donor, Mooshie, and now thanks to the anonymous egg donor, who is a saint in my eyes for giving us baby Kyla inside me.

I am blessed. I am blessed to have wonderful friends and family who care, as well as "Internet" friends who care as well. Sometimes the support overwhelms me and brings me to tears (but CJ always says I am a crybaby :). I feel the love when I really need it. And that is all I need.

I blog to share with YOU, friends and family, the journey of my life with my dear husband, my wonderful furry puppy kids, and my Keifer girl. I shared with you my journey with getting PG the first time, and now the second. If you look at my title, it says: The journey of our family after undergoing IVF with Donor Eggs - we were successful and now it's life with baby and 2 dogs! Now we're expecting again, thanks again to donor eggs- this time with an anonymous donor. So buckle up and join us on our ride through parenthood and our second pregnancy!

So there you go. I don't need anonymous women coming on here lecturing me and I won't even blink when I delete the email letting me know that they have yet another comment for me. It isn't important. My life and my family is. I don't need to justify what I do as a parent, or the choices I make. I think I'm doing OK as a first time parent, and Keifer is a well loved, and happy little girl who is truly a miracle. What more do I need to say? Nothing! And that is that. :)

No, I don't _____, and I'm happy with it

Yes, I scheduled a repeat Csection. Yes, I know that many people consider that wrong and that I should push my OB towards a VBAC (Vaginal birth after Csection). However, after the agony I went through with Keifer's birth, I'd rather not go in and repeat that experience. IF I happen to go into labor on my own prior to our scheduled June 11 date, then we'll see how my body is cooperating. However, I have no qualms about my doctor taking Kyla out of me via Csection.

And no, I'm not going to breastfeed Kyla, either. I (never did) breastfeed Keifer, and you know what? She is a happy, highly intelligent girl who has a very strong bond with me and her daddy. Yes, she gets sick a lot in the winter, but 1)she is in a daycare, 2) I work with young children and bring home MANY germs, and 3) I have heard MANY stories or children who are primarily breastfed who have many more health conditions that our girl. So we'll stick with what works for US, and it is not an issue for CJ nor I. To each her own, and in our case, we are happy, and so is baby!

I may decide to change my mind once Kyla arrives. Who knows. I did try breastfeeding Keifer at one point during my hospital stay, but decided it isn't for me. And that's that. :)

Diapers - question

I know people use diapers.com and really like their service.
If you do, tell me the pros and cons to it.
We recently received a coupon for $10 an order for them, as well as free shipping. How do their prices compare to someone like Costo/Sam's Club?
With another baby on the way, we'd like to "stock up" and start prepping pretty soon!
Thanks in advance!

Dancing to Sesame! Whoo hoo!

I told you. This girl LOVES to get her groove on. She loves to dance: the minute she HEARS music, she immediately drops what she's doing and gets her booty shaking! Mama has taught her the "whoo hoo"she frequently does during all her dancing.
And yes, we do dress her in other clothes other than her PJ's, but it seems as though every video moment is either early AM or later in the PM when bedtime is upon us. LOL.

Sick house

I feel like I'm always posting about Keifer being sick. Well, she's sick AGAIN. It all started the night we left for my parents up in Duluth (Friday night). We spent the weekend up there - Valentine's weekend- and consequently had a sleepless night on Friday, as she was crying and coughing all.night.long. Saturday night was better, but lots of coughing and crying in her sleep this time. We had brought the Nebulizer, so she's been on those meds since then.

We got home Sunday and she was feverish, so she laid low and then went to bed. She slept better, but when she wakes up, she wakes up SCREAMING for mama, and saying "owie" repeatedly; it just breaks your heart.

I had yesterday off in honor of President's Day, but it was spent in my PJ's, as Keifer was clinging to me like white on rice. She barely napped, and when she did sleep, she awoke only to cry for almost 45 minutes straight. About what? I have no idea. Again, she kept repeating "owie".

She was burning up with fever most of last night, and we did manage to get Motrin or Tylenol in her, although, we had to force Motrin down her throat: mama was sobbing as Keifer was hysterical with us doing this. Uggg.

I stayed home from work today, and just got home from the Pediatrician. Apparently her throat and ears are clear, thank goodness, as are her lungs. She is wheezy/raspy when she breathes, which coincides with this breathing stuff she has. The doc seems to think the fever is viral and recommends just continuing with our neb treatments, and hoping she gets better.

Poor baby.
She was a trooper, though. All the way to the doctor, she kept saying "going to doctor", and as we pulled out, she said "bye, Doctor!", even though she barely made a peep when we were actually inside his office.

Go baby, we have a birthday! :)

I had my 22 week check up yesterday. All appears to be going smoothly for baby Kyla inside me. I'm still feeling the kicks and flutters, and she makes us very happy.

The doctor found the heartbeat immediately- which always is a great blessing to hear- and we discussed my planned Csection. After the nightmare delivery the first time around, I am feeling somewhat relieved to have a plan in place. I think *IF* I go "on my own" with this one, we'll see how things progress, and go from there. If Kyla is anything like her big sissy, Keifer, she will would stay forever inside mommy's warm womb.

That being said, we scheduled my Csection for June 11! *gasp*. It's so exciting! I immediately called CJ on the way out of the office, and then called both sets of grandparents. I'm walking around on cloud 9 today. I'm not sure why this is sooooo exciting, I mean, she's coming anyways! (!) but to have THE DATE on the calendar makes this all so real!

Babycenter.com tells us: At 11 inches (the length of a spaghetti squash) and almost 1 pound, your baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn. His lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and he's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath his gums. His eyes have formed, but his irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment. If you could see inside your womb, you'd be able to spot the fine hair (lanugo) that covers his body and the deep wrinkles on his skin, which he'll sport until he adds a padding of fat to fill them in. Inside his belly, his pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — is developing steadily.See what your baby looks like this week.

Happy 22 months, baby girl!

Happy 22 months today (Feb. 10) to my baby girl, who is quickly turning into a toddler, and NOT a baby, anymore. *sniff*. It is going by much too fast for my liking.
Our girl is continuing to make CJ and I smile at each other on a daily basis, for she is one smart cookie. She continues to love her fur siblings, and still says good morning and goodbye to them each and every day. She is always very concerned about "where Sager go?".
K is continuing to show some interest in being potty trained, but it's a very slow process. She will tell us,and Elaine, after she has pooped in her diaper. The few times she has warned us that she has to poop have not been successful once we've moved onto the potty chair. Well, we'll get there. However, she is very interested in mommy or daddy if she sees us going potty. "Mama, bum" she'll say, as she reaches over to try and see my bum. Um, no, sweet girl. Last week, I was trying to quickly go potty before I left for work, but I had Keifer lounging between my legs, playing with my belt, while Sage and Treble decided to take their rowdy play into the bathroom and go under my legs. I yelled for CJ to come and relieve me. What a picture we made!
Last week, Keifer was in the back seat when out of the blue she said, "mama, I love it!". I turned around and said "You love it?". She answered, " I love it" with her big cheese grin. Where in the world she got that, I have no idea. My own guess is one of the older kids at Elaine's must have said this about something, and little parrot girl picked up on it.
K continues to bless me and CJ if we sneeze, cough, or sometimes even if we yawn. The other night Sager sneezed under the table when we were eating dinner, and Keifer promptly said, with no hesitation, "bless you, Sager". Ahh, what a sweetie.
She continues to be Miss Drama girl, as well. Her latest act of drama is to make her excited "OHH" face when we ask her questions about going out or talk about going somewhere. Then, she'll cover her mouth with her hands, in an act of excitement. I can so see her performing on stage someday! LOL.
Each morning is an adventure in our house, as we are clamoring to get ready, with our busy girl running around. K loves to be a big helper, and lately she has taken to retrieving all my sandals from the closet, and some of my belts as well, and piling them at my feet in my bathroom as I prepare for the day. "Here go, mama" , she'll say, as polite and helpful as can be. The amazing part to me, though, is that she'll then take Chris's shoes out and knows that they are HIS shoes. She knows the difference between a daddy or a mommy shoe!
Our big girl also wants to be so independent on the stairs going up and down to our bedrooms. It scares us to death, but we are letting her practice (with us there to spot), as she goes up and down with just her hand on the wall to give her support. "No, mama, go go go!", she'll say, in efforts to shoo me away from her. Oye. She also enjoys climbing up on the bottom stair (where she so famously will run and sit and say "cheese" for a picture!), and then jumps off it. "Ready, set, go!" is a common phrase we'll hear, and then a little hop step jump that cannot be imitated is completed.
Our girl can now read the book Bless Me to us in its entirety. It blows us away.
Last weekend, we asked Keifer if she wanted to visit her cousins. We didn't mention names. She sat there, and then said "Mason?". She knows who and what a cousin is! She is in LOVE with Mason!
When K and I pull into the parking lot for baby ballroom on Mondays, she now says "Yay, ballroom" or "Shake shake, mama, yay!". She sooooooo loves going and is beginning to dance without me, or holding my hand, and can sing and dance along to many of the songs we sing all on her own. My peacock feathers are starting to spread now. LOL.
And, little Keifer has turned into a clingy mama's girl. I'm not sure when this started happening, but last week I had to work late for two nights. Chris said the second night, she cried and moaned and called for me to read her the Thank You Prayer book (I read while Chris holds her, and we all say it together and then do kisses and hugs goodnight, over and over). It broke my heart to hear this, and that she cried for about 10 minutes for me. Ugg. A few times now, at Elaine's in the AM as well, she'll say, "C'mon, Mama, sit down" and motion me to follow her into Elaine's and sit down to eat breakfast with the kids. My heart hurts to leave her, although I know she's OK. I guess the other day, when some one's mom picked them up before I came to get her, she also started crying for me. Ugg. Not the things I want to think about. She's also much more shy in person with people, as she is becoming more aware of her surroundings and what is different or new to her.
Only two more months and our sweet angel girl is going to be Two. It breaks my heart that she is growing and changing so rapidly, but it is a fun adventure to go through life with her by our sides.

The Sun'll come out, tomorrow

When I was little, one of my favorite movies was Annie. I went to the actual movie in a theater a few times, and remember it vividly. I had the soundtrack, a record, of course, and can remember skipping around my basement coffee table, singing along to all the songs.

In 3rd grade, I told my mom one day that I was going to put on a play in our basement, and she was to invite family over to watch and make some coffee and cake to serve. Mom then found me an old wig of hers and died it red. I had received the Annie locket (from Avon!), so wearing that, a red dress, and my newly dyed wig, me and my friend from down the road put on a play. My friend was "Molly". Then, we finished our short play by stepping up onto the ledge of our fireplace, and singing along to "Tomorrow". Ahh, memories.

I, of course, own the movie (on DVD) and over Christmas break, introduced Keifer to it one day as we were playing. She must have liked it, because a few days ago, out of the blue, she said, "watch Annie", which blew me away. She remembered this movie! Was she going to be a fellow Annie fan, just like mama?

So, we trekked down to the downstairs TV and I put it on. K prefers to watch the scenes that have songs and dancing in them, and she quickly has caught on to the fact that "the doggie" is named 'Sandy'. So cute. Just another reason to gush over my girl.

Baby love, my baby love(s)

Oh boy, does our girl LOVE babies lately. She's always been very interested in a baby and comments on them whenever we are out in public. As I've mentioned, now that we know Kyla is a girl inside my tummy, we've been prepping our girl to get used to a baby in her room (in the toy pack & play) and she is really cute about making sure Kyla is where she should be (as in one of her three dolls that are "Kyla")

This past weekend, CJ and I took our girl shopping, and had a pit stop at REI (to pick out a double stroller color ~ we're going with the orange!). We saw a couple walk by carrying an infant seat, and Keifer immediately noticed: "Hi, baby!".

As we passed the couple and their baby on our way out, Keifer stopped to admire the baby ("baby sleeping!"), and as she turned away to leave, out of nowhere she said, "bye, baby, I love you!". WHAT? She said "I love you" to a complete stranger's baby! LOL. What a sweet pea. All our time spent telling our girl how much we love her is starting to hit home with her. Her love for babies is coming out.

Last night, K and I had baby ballroom. There is an infant (or more usually) in our class, and again, K is always very interested in the baby. Once again, last night, she had to check on the baby in his infant seat, and he was sleeping ("shhh, baby sleepin'"). Then, as we were dancing on the dance floor, the baby was left in his chair to sleep. K became very concerned and wanted to keep going to check on the baby, and was fine once he woke up and was in his mommy's carrier. Then, as the mom walked out onto the dance floor with the baby, K said "hi, baby" from across the room and literally blew kisses at him.

Here's hoping she's as sweet and loving to the REAL LIFE baby that comes home with us in June!

We went to the zoo zoo ZOO!

A week ago, it was a little over 40' outside,so we packed up our girl and her stroller and hit the zoo. What a fun time we had! It was muddy and wet (lots of puddles!) but our girl had a ball clomping around in her boots, and especially seeing the camels, monkeys, and the SHARKS! SHARKS! (yes, she loves sharks!).
Here she is, ready to go! "Cheese, mama!"

Helping push her stroller
Catching up to mama
It was pretty warm out, so we took our hats off
Not a very good picture of the bears, but the 3 Grizzly Bears were napping.
Mama was a tired mama from our busy day outside
Our girl loves to be independent
Showing off her latest "ohh" face: she does this for any news of what we'll be doing, or if she hears something she really likes (pure drama)

PLEASE READ if you have young children:

I have a good friend in Sauk Rapids (MN), and there was recently a tragedy in her church. A couple lost their 2 year old son to a window blind cord accident. Very sad and very traumatic, as you can imagine. My friend just passed on this website and I'm asking you to please look at it, to make sure YOUR home is safe for your children, and to also pass the word on to other people you know.

www.pfwbs.org is the site

Here is an email from a parent who lost their son in a blind cord accident:

One thing that would especially helpful to me though, is if you would take some time to look at this website, www.pfwbs.org <http://www.pfwbs.org>, and then go through your house and make any necessary changes. I really didn't understand the danger of corded blinds. We are led to believe that if you have the cords out of reach it is okay. But after looking at this website, I have realized that no corded blind is safe. I talked to the woman who founded the site I listed above (and also suffered the loss of her 12 month old in a blind accident) and just want to get the word out to as many people as possible so that no one else has to go through this nightmare. Please pass along the website to everyone you know and take time to look at church, daycare and the homes you visit to see if there are changes that should be made there as well. We can't do anything at this point to bring Owen back, but if we can inform others about the dangers of corded blinds and in that way protect their children, that helps to ease our pain a bit.

Videos

We've uploaded some new fun clips of K around the house and then at the zoo last weekend......check 'em out if you have time. Or are interested. :)

Heaven, I'm in heaven (PG #2)

I have been feeling Kyla inside me nudging and poking, very softly, for a while now. The past few days, though, POW! This girl is poking me! Right above my pubic bone (usually) I can totally feel the foot or hand poking me. As I was loading the washing machine tonight, I swear I could feel an entire LIMB moving inside me, OYE!

I am giddy about this. I loved feeling Keifer move inside me, but never felt her until later in my PG. I just smile all the time about it. Ahhh, this girl is gonna be another mover and shaker (I bet), just like her big sissy! *hee hee*

I am 21 weeks, and babycenter.com tells me: Your baby now weighs about three-quarters of a pound and is approximately 10 1/2 inches long — the length of a carrot. You may soon feel like she's practicing martial arts as her initial fluttering movements turn into full-fledged kicks and nudges. You may also discover a pattern to her activity as you get to know her better. In other developments, your baby's eyebrows and lids are present now, and if you're having a girl, her vagina has begun to form as well.See what your baby looks like this week.

Keifer pics - a load of 'em!

Trying to get caught up on Keifer pictures! I have a list somewhere of her cute things she's doing - she has been changing on a daily basis with the things she does and things she is saying. I thought I'd post some pictures to start and I'll update more with the info soon!

Here she is preparing something yummy on the stove of her new kitchen! *so serious*
enjoying the meal afterwards!
And, enjoying another meal on the stairs on another day (or was she "whisking" some eggs?)
Hi, mama!
Making sure baby gets a warm bottle
On another day, but she put baby "Kyla" in her seat and gave her some food and a bottle
The girl LOVES her ABC's! (she is always singing the song. ALWAYS.)
I love this: I call this the "Aftermath of an Artist"
Her latest thing: when she wants to watch "Elmo", she'll lay on the couch and pull the blanket up; she thinks she's hot stuff doing this!
CHEESE!
Petting and saying goodbye to her best friend, Sager, before we leave for Elaine's one morning
She loves this doggie
